Coconut flour can be used as a gluten and grain-free baking agent, vegan thickener, to improve texture and thickness in breakfast bars, biscuits, muffins, smoothies, puddings, pies, cookies, truffles, cupcakes and cake, soups and stews. Coconut flour has a subtle cake-like flavour, rather than a coconut flavour. It is a healthy replacement for flour as it is high in protein and fibre, but has little carbohydrate or fat.
