A nutritious, herbaceous perennial that has long been used by herbalists in dried or tea form and as a general tonic. Can be used to make herbal tea, beer, wine, soup - or use to obtain a natural green dye. Can be added to salad dressings and condiments, or sprinkled over food.
For tea: Infuse 1 teaspoon per cup of hot water and steep for 5 minutes
